Unplanned Field Testing: 12 Miles in One Hop

As it happens, there is a local festival going on in my tiny home town, where helicopter rides were available. So I grabbed a couple of ChatterBoxes and got in a short but sweet 30 minutes of testing. During this time, the ChatterBox I brought was easily able to do instant 12 mile deliveries with confirmation.

I wanted to go farther, but unfortunately my time was up. I may rent some time within the next few weeks to find out exactly what the single hop limit is. I hadn't thought of this option before seeing the helicopter this morning.

The shorter floppy antenna that is the "upgraded antenna" reward add-on option on Kickstarter was able to get 8 miles.
