Adding Thermal “Backpack”

ChatterBoxes will have add-on capability, which for now I’m calling “Backpacks”. Essentially, you will be able to either snap something onto the back of your ChatterBox or take off the back cover and replace it with another cover that has some sort of sensor or other nifty thing embedded within the case back. Once you do that (because of a few special connectors on the custom PCB), you will have a nice upgrade to your ChatterBox.

The one I’m working on at the moment, shown in the prototype image of this posting, is a thermal camera. I expect you will be able to use it “live” like you would a normal thermal camera, or receive thermal images from remote cameras (or other people) delivered via your secure mesh cluster.
