The ChatterBox Secure Messaging Device (prototype)

Using the ChatterBox is very similar to how you would use a mobile phone for texting. Almost everything you do is via the touch screen. Just text whoever you want (in your cluster), and the ChatterBox will take care of getting the message there, as soon as possible.

Message History

Stores up to (around) 100 most recent messages, along with who they came from. Touch any message to reply. Message history can be turned off or cleared at any time. If you enable message history, it is only stored (encrypted) on the device, as the ChatterBox has no connectivity to the internet, phone network, or any centralized servers.

Nearby Devices

Shows a live view of devices within transmit range. If you send a message to one of these devices, it will go instantly and direct (no meshing). If you want to send to a device that is powered off or out of range, your device will consider these nearby devices as options when planning a route to get your message mesh-delivered.
