Private clusters offer the most functionality and highest level of security you can get from ChatterBox. Location/connectivity are being shared, encryption is generally asymmetric, and there are many more benefits. You are limited to 90 devices that can send messages within a cluster. Open channels can be unlimited in the number of devices. A channel ID + credentials make up the secure encryption keys and hopping pattern which allow same-channel devices to communicate.
